Terms Of Business & Conditions Of Sale

All orders are accepted and the goods supplied subject to our current prices on the date of receipt of such orders, and the following terms & conditions.

PRICES - All prices quoted are subject to Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate. Intasound P.A. reserve the right to amend listed prices without prior notification.
PAYMENT - All orders are on a ‘cash with order’ basis, accept for approved customers with established credit account facilities.
Approved account customers terms are NETT 30days from date of invoice. Intasound P.A. reserve the right to charge interest on all overdue accounts on a day to day basis at a rate not exceeding 4% per annum above the base lending rate of Barclays Bank PLC.
All major credit cards** & BACS payments are accepted. ** Subject to 3% surcharge.
Please note, all cheques returned to us unpaid will incur a £25.00+VAT administration charge.
Minimum order for all credit card transactions £20.00, orders below this amount will incur a £1 service charge.
SETTLEMENT DISCOUNT : Where applicable, all accounts MUST be settled strictly within the agreed period. Discounts will only be accepted, where the account is up to date and all other invoices preceding discounted invoices are paid net of our agreed terms.

PRODUCTS - The information contained within any brochures or catalogues including numerical date, has been prepared only as a guide to the products so described. Intending buyers and users must satisfy themselves as to the suitability and safety of the products for their particular purposes & duties. No responsibility is assumed for any errors in our published descriptive material.
Intasound P.A. reserve the right to alter designs and material specifications of any products without prior notification.
INSPECTION - The buyer must inspect the goods thoroughly at the earliest opportunity after taking delivery. If no queries are raised within 3days of delivery, will be deemed to have accepted the goods as delivered. In the event of any shortages or defects, our liability will in all circumstances be limited(at our discretion) , to repair, replacement or credit. No contingent liabilities will be accepted.
USED EQUIPMENT SALES - All used, ex hire or demonstration equipment, is sold as seen and void of any warranty or guarantee.
Used, ex hire or demonstration equipment purchased mail-order is sold with a limited 7 day guarantee, during which time, the goods may be returned by prior arrangement at the expense of the customer for a full refund(excl. carriage charges). The goods must be returned in the original packaging supplied and must not be modified in any way. A written explanation must accompany goods returns, before a refund can be issued. 
SHORTAGES OR DAMAGE - Should be notified in the first instance verbally, followed in writing to both Intasound P.A. and the carrier where applicable. In the case of non delivery, please notify us within 7days of the invoice date.
INCORRECTLY ORDERED GOODS - Intasound P.A. accept no liability whatsoever for incorrectly ordered goods. If agreed in advance, goods maybe accepted for return where a minimum of 15% restocking fee will be charged on the original invoice, provided the goods are returned in a saleable condition. Return carriage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any carriage charges applied to the original invoice in respect or returned goods will not be refunded.
LAW - Any contract of sale, of which these terms form part of, will be interpreted in accordance with the law of England.
COMMISSION SALES - A £15 + VAT administration fee will be levied to cover any advertising and servicing costs incurred by Intasound P.A. in relation to the sale of equipment to be returned to the customer/owner at any time.
RETENTION OF TITLE - Intasound P.A. remains the owner of the goods until the full price and any other sums owing by the customer to Intasound P.A. are paid in full.
TRADE SALES OF NEW EQUIPMENT - Goods sold as ‘trade’ are supplied as standard with the manufacturers full warranty. In the event of equipment failure within this warranty period, it is the responsibility of the client to contact the manufacturer direct, or their approved service centre, to obtain details of their returns policy.
Any costs incurred must be paid for in full by the Client.
Intasound P.A. will accept faulty goods back on behalf of ‘trade clients’ for repair under warranty, at a minimum charge of £30.00 + VAT.

Conditions Of Hire

All the equipment remains the property of INTASOUND referred to as the Company.
Hire charges are based on the period of the contract irrespective of whether or not the equipment is in use.

Hire commences upon delivery to the Customer and ceases upon return to the Company. Equipment is not regarded as returned to the Company until it is checked and inspected by an authorised member of the Company`s staff and a formal receipt issued on behalf of the Company. NOTE : Late returns of equipment will incur further charges at the full rate of hire for each and every day that the equipment remains unreturned to the Company.

Equipment hired will be entirely at the Customer`s risk during the hire period and the Customer will be responsible for any loss or damage thereto howsoever arising.
The Customer undertakes responsibility for insuring equipment against `all risks` to full replacement value. Any loss or damage to the equipment is to be reimbursed to the Company by the Customer to the full replacement value thereof.

The Customer will be responsible for ensuring that any relevant regulations, rules or statutory provisions governing, or relating to, the use of the hired equipment are complied with during the period of the hire and the Company in no way assumes liability for the consequences of any non-compliance with any such regulations ,rules or statutory provisions.

Equipment will be supplied to the Customer in normal working order, the Company`s liability for any defect or failure of the equipment is limited to the rectification of any defect or failure arising from normal usage.

The Customer undertakes to ensure that the Company`s equipment shall not be used for any purposes beyond its capacity or in any other manner likely to result in undue deterioration of the equipment.

The Company cannot be responsible for any injuries to personnel or damage to property consequential to and arising from any improper use of the equipment by the Customer or by any other person whether or not authorised by the Customer, during the period of the hire.

Equipment hired must not be altered by the Customer or modified in any way. In particular, cables must not be cut, and plugs and sockets must not be rewired by the Customer. Any equipment found to be modified or in any way altered and any cables or components found to be damaged by cutting or attempts at any modification will be charged at replacement price upon return.

Any damage to, or failure of, or defect in any hired equipment must be notified to the Company within 24 hours of its occurrence and confirmed in writing within three days of initial notification. In the absence of such notification the Customer will be charged with the cost of repair or replacement.

The Customer will be responsible for advising the Company as to the location of the hired equipment during the period of hire and of any changes in such location. No equipment hired from the Company may be taken outside the Mainland of Great Britain, either to any offshore island or to any foreign country without the written consent of the Company.

In the event that the specified equipment is not available for the period of hire, the Company reserve the right to supply an alternative similar in specification.

The Company provides spare lamps with equipment where appropriate. These and any lamps that the customer replaces must be returned with the equipment and in default their full replacement cost will be charged.

All cables are supplied coiled and PVC taped. A charge of £1.00 + VAT will be made for each cable returned in any other condition than as supplied. Do NOT use Gaffa tape. 

The company reserves the right to charge any loss, damage or late returns to the customers credit card.
